About Kukui Piha

Alana discovered a love of crafting while working for a Hawaiʻi legacy candle and soap-making company during college.  Lighting candles is a lovely ritual, but what about the guilt from tossing the used containers?  This small local business is one attempt to help reduce the waste stream.

A lifelong kamaʻaina of Oʻahu, born and raised in Kailua, Alana hopes to serve their community with humility, generosity, kindness and creativity. They take inspiration from Native Hawaiian culture and ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, and hopes this resonates with her customers.

Candle Safety!
Please always use caution when burning candles. Keep flames away from children and pets, avoid windy drafts or moving the candle when it is lit.
For best results, keep burn time under 3 hours, and keep the wick centered and trimmed to 1/4″. If the wick is accidentally cut too short, you may carve a small amount of wax out, then burn for 30 mins to reset the candle wax.
